U.S. special envoy to visit India next month

Washington, DC (BBN)- The US Special Envoy to the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Rashad Hussain will visit to India next month, an official announcement said on Friday.

During the nine days tour, starting from August 1, Mr. Hussain will visit Aligarh, Mumbai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, and Patna.

“Where he will meet with local university faculty and students, Muslim leaders, and government officials to discuss the Administration’s initiatives on education, global health, entrepreneurship, and countering violent extremism,” the State Department said in a statement.
