Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The Board of Directors of Square Group held a meeting on Thursday at the Square Corporate Headquarters in the capital Dhaka. 

The meeting started by honoring the memories of the late Chairman Samson H Chowdhury and the success, hard work and honesty he put into his 54 year long work life. 

Following that, the eldest son of the late Chairman, Mr. Samuel S Chowdhury, was chosen as the new Chairman of Square Group by the unanimous decision of the Board of Directors. Also, the only daughter of the late Chairman, Mrs.Ratna Patra, was selected to be the new Vice Chairperson.

Mr. Samuel S Chowdhury and Mrs. Ratna Patra have been working with Square Group for a long time in their capacities as Vice Chairman and Director respectively, the company said.
